  Deadline 2011:
• 3rd INTL. COMPETITION OF TEXTILE ART ‘CONTINERE’: The 7th International Triennial of Contemporary Textile Arts of Tournai - subtitled “The 5 Continents”. Artists from the five continents are invited to participate in an exhibition from 10 June to 25. September 2011.
  The organisers are asking for pieces that deal with the basic principles of weaving and the best possible interpretations in this field.
  Objects should measure no more than 220 x 220 x 30 cm and no less than 100 x 150 cm. Submissions must include digital photos, a paper print and a work sample. Three prizes worth Euro 5,000, Euro 2,000 and Euro 1,000 will be presented, and a catalogue with colour illustrations is envisaged. A participation fee will not be charged.
