The Costume Committee Board of Directors urges young members (35 years of age or under, by December 31, 2010 as defined by ICOM) to apply for a travel grant of up to 2,000 Euros to attend the upcoming costume meeting in Serbia, September 25-30, 2011.  THE DEADLINE FOR APPLICATION MATERIALS TO BE RECEIVED BY COSTUME COMMITTEE CHAIR KATIA JOHANSEN IS FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 18.  SEND COMPLETED APPLICATION AND SUPPORTING MATERIALS TO   dk@dkks.dk

A short summary of the criteria follows:

·          Grants are reserved for applicants from developing countries or from countries with non-convertible currency.

·          Candidates must be 35 years of age or under and currently employed full time in a museum.

·          Applicants must be individual members of ICOM and of the Costume Committee.

·          Only applicants who have paid their dues for 2010 and 2011 may apply.

·          Applicants must supply a written statement, resume, and fully completed application form.

·          Each grantee must submit a written report to the ICOM Secretariat within one month after the meeting.
