Contest

To commemorate the 60th anniversary of ICOM, the Secretariat and AVICOM international committee are launching a
contest for the production of a captivating video clip
that encapsulates ICOM's mission, values, and activities.The video clip is to be no longer than two minutes and may make use of several visual and sound techniques.

The winning submission will receive a variety of accolades and international exposure.

    Batik artist and ETN member Rita Trefois from Belgium will lead a tour to China in September 2006. This tour will concentrate on Guizhou province but will also visit Beijing, the capital of China and Guiliu, famed for the Li River. The emphasis will be on visiting the villages of the Miao and Dong ethnic minorities and studying their festival costumes.
